About the Journal
General information (goals, mission)
The Central European Library and Information Science Review (CeLISR) is a science journal published jointly by the HNMPCC National Széchényi Library and the National Technical Information Centre and Library at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
The journal publishes studies in both English and Hungarian language. It aims at presenting research results and trends in the library and information science (LIS) sector. The journal seeks to connect professionals in the field of library and information science in the Central European region and beyond, i.e. articles from outside the region are also welcome.
Our journal is for practising librarians, researchers, PhD students and those wishing to deepen their knowledge in a particular field within the LIS area, wherever they are from. Our aim is to be a forum for academic life and to provide a platform for the international dissemination of the profession's achievements in the region.
The journal's editorial team is supported by an advisory board of national experts in Hungary, and an international advisory board.
Our aim is to ensure that CeLISR is recognised as the region's professional publication of scientific quality.
Articles are published quickly through online first access.
