Abstract
2021 was the Year of Volunteering in Hungary. We saw the need to launch a faculty-level pilot research project at the ELTE PPK Institute for Adult Education Research and Knowledge Management (Bridge between volunteering and the labour market) with the aim to get an idea of the social responsibility of our students. The aim of our research was to explore the volunteering activities and experiences of ELTE PPK students, the effects of the changes (self-awareness - labour market) brought about by this process, to get an idea of the situation and changes in the students' competences, to draw conclusions and suggestions for the promotion of volunteering at the faculty, to make volunteering training even more effective, and to develop further supportive solutions for the meaningful support and recognition of our students' volunteering activities. The present study aims to present the main results of this pilot research.
