Factors affecting scientific and technical information acceptance
Abstract
Acceptance and utilization of literary data and, in general, scientific/technical information is governed by the interrelation of two factors: one is represented by the total of individual factors controlling acceptance, and the other by the time and energy required for takeover. Indicating these two factors by R and P, respectively, author presents a mathematical model and, using this as a benchmark, continues discussing the importance of the conponents the two principal factors consist of.
