Technical information and its users

Abstract

The World Federation of Engineering Organizations/Committee of Engineering Information WFEO/CEI held an intemational symposium on the subject in Sofia, 15-17 June 1977. Besides general problems the lectures dealt with two main topics: information needs of engineers, information services for engineers; education and training of users of engineering information. The article provides summaries of the lectures.
