Practical use of the LOGEL-system at the Institute for Building Science

Abstract

On the basis of the Institute's internál information system based upon the LOGEL-method the subject stnicture of the research projects has been investigated. As a result of analysis the frequency distribution of research work terminated in 1978 according to main subject groups and the development trend of research for 1979 could be determined. The LOGEL-system was alsó used for projects initiated from outside the Institute, e. g. for the elaboration of long- and medium-range research program conceptions for various branches of the building industry and the subject analysis for UNIDO of building research carried out in developing countries.
