Abstract

Assuming a selective information system at an industrial enterprise, the five-part series presents mathematical methods as a possible means of bringing the system to perfection. The third part - in close connection with the former two parts - deseribes the method of group-reduction, a basic principle of situation analyses. Based upon a survey conducted at the VBKM Transwill Works, the practical applicability of the method is demonstrated.
