Factographic/direct information - data documentation

Abstract

The special field indicated in the title includes many other kinds of information deseribed by various names, e.g. quantitative and textual data; facts; non-bibliographic and factual information; indipendent and actual answers, etc. Handling, types and sources are very different (from handbooks to online data bases) having great importance alsóin scientific-technical information. Data indexing in documentation is possible by indicative (flag) and more detailed (tag) indicators. Examples justify the necessity for strengthening connections between bibliographic and factographic information activities.
