30 years of the Hungarian journal Scientific and Technical Information (TMT). Part 1: Nine volumes under the title of Bulletin of Technical Librarians

Abstract

The journal TMT concluded its 30. volume in 1983. In the first 9 years it appeared under the title of Bulletin of Technical Librarians. lt published primarily papers on librarianship, on documentation and on topics common to both professions. The scientific and technical information field has grown continuously in the journal which is expressed by its present title. The author describes the history and circumstances of the appearance of Bulletin of Technical Librarians, and gives an overview of its changes and development. Finally, he presents detailed data on the disiribution of the 474 papers and studies published by the journal during its 9-year existence.
