On the economies of information

Abstract

In the first part of the study the author attempts to summarize the past ten years of information management and policies at the level of industrial technical libraries in Hungary. Further, considering the present situation, he deseribes the computerised information services in Hungary and points out with eriticism the inadequate utilization of computers. Accordingly, he calls for a more effective use of the available resources.
