It has become a high-priority information project also in Hungary to create online accessible databases and, simultaneously, to aid the edition of existing abstracting journals by computer techniques. Therefore, it is wortwile to overview the methods developed earlier by organizations on this field. It is well known that INSPEC is one of the best databases so their processing techniques should be in the first place studied thoroughly. The linked processes of database generation and computer-aided edition of primed products of INSPEC are described in detail.
