The facsimile service of the Hungarian PTT

Abstract

The facsimile services for electronic transmission of documents have gained an increasing role as an addition to telephone and telex services of PTTs. The Post Office of Hungary provides the opportunity to install telefax terminals in this country, too. For this reason, the fundamentals and operational practice of electronic document facsimile services are presented.
