Application of CD-ROMs in the Regensburg University Library

Abstract

In RUL, FRG, CD-ROM products have been used since 1987. mainly for aiding library acquisition procedures. The first CD-ROM product in RUL was the Books in Print Plus. The merging ol CD-ROM-based and online ordering has been proved to be a successful operation of the extension of the library's collection.
