Magnetic disks as newspaper carriers

Abstract

The publication titled Floppy.Lap (Floppy Paper) is the first periodical in Hungary, now in its fourth volume, that has been published on floppy disk form only. It is a monthly periodical, primarily for computer specialists. The article presents technological advancement of the first floppy disk journal, and discusses the possible future scenario of periodicals on magnetic carriers generally. The success of the first Hungarian journal on floppy disk is made obvious by the fact of the appearance of some other floppy disk periodicals in Hungary.
