Library management economy. Part 1. Financing, services, prices
Abstract
The continuous reduction of budget sources raises the question: whose task is ihe financing of libraries? New forms of financing and of procedures have been proposed for libraries as non-profit organizalions price increase of documents and equipment have been forcing libraries to introduce marketing strategies. Proliferation ot computer-based services raises new problems for the management of iibrary services pricing: output generated as a free service at one library can be a fee-based services at an other one.
