Some remarks on the marketing of CD-ROM databases in medical and pharmaceutical subject fields

Abstract

The author evaluates the prices of medical and pharmaceutical databases from the distributor's (Information Technology Services Ltd.) view, attempting to categorize these products in a special way' into price categories. He would like to assist the buyers for taking into consideration factors other than the price when selecting CD-ROM products.
