Abstract
In this series the concepts of information science, their evolution, appearance and relationships are presented, in the framework of the development of these concepts. In addition to establish a cultural historical tableau, the aim is to create a model for forming a more unified image of information. In the third part the evolution of telecommunication and the tools and concepts of automated operations are discussed.
