Relation, syntax, semantics
Abstract
Every formai theory uses the notion of the relation-ship in somé way. However, Mathematics and Logic förmed the theory of syntactical description of relationships in a detailed manner, while the different disciplines employed relational terms with narrower meanings in order to have a category set with greater descriptive capabilities. These latter, semantically-rich theories have not really achieved a syntactical foundation yet. To step further we need to connect the syntactical and semantic lev-els. This paper tries to take those necessary first steps - with numerous examples supporting an easier understanding.
