Update on retroconversion: practical examples from Germany and Switzerland

Abstract

The retroconversion of library catalogues is nearly accomplished in the majority of the Germán speak-ing regions of Europe. This article focuses on practical problems that most of the libraries have en-countered while carrying out the retroconversion project, and offers an overview of the various solutions.
