Business information services at Hungárián libraries - the way forward

Abstract

The need for the knowledge society-oriented de-velopment of the Hungárián library network cannot be questioned. Business information services should be an integrál part of library service provi-sion, and the present study aims to raise more awareness around this area. After a short historical overview and a complex analysis of the situation at Hungárián libraries, the author makes recommen-dations for further research of the subject and de-fines the most important actions to be taken to-wards an effective solution.
