A foreign-language collection – values and challenges

Abstract

The article provides insight into the history of the multilingual collection of OIK, highlighting the factors which have contributed to the formation of the current collection. Stresses the values represented by the multilingual collection, discusses the challenges faced by the Library and its collection, as well as the Library’s response strategies.
