Abstract

The Library of the Hungarian Parliament opened on March 17, 2014 again after a closure of 9 months because of renewal. It became clear then that it is inevitable to promote services, so a marketing initiative was started under the title Co-operation Programme with Universities and Research Institutes. The goal is to increase the number of users, to raise the prestige of the Library and to strengthen the collection’s utilization for professional purposes. Co-operation with higher education institutions is one of the fields where professional relations can be deepened. The programme consists of several elements and offers a colourful palette, from which each institution, faculty member and researcher can select a form of co-operation with promises to be efficient.
