Conceptual framework and indicators of measuring the digital competence of Hungarian librarians

Abstract

The Association of Hungarian Librarians – recognizing the indisputable role of libraries and librarians in developing the population’s digital competence – decided to compile a framework and indicators for measuring the digital competence of Hungarian librarians, in line with European standards. The work done is theoretically based on the DIGCOMP Framework of the European Commission. In addition to presenting the framework, which can be used in versatile ways, the study draws attention to a possible set of indicators.
