Birger Hjørland’s concept theory and classification ideas

Abstract

Birger Hjørland is an internationally recognized researcher and expert of knowledge organization theory. His work has not yet been sufficiently covered by special literature in Hungarian. The study therefore introduces his views about concepts as the basic elements of knowledge organization and about knowledge organization itself, as well as reviews the domain analysis approach he has created.
