Open access in practice

Abstract

In 2015 the leaders of the University of Szeged committed themselves to appropriate a significant amount of financial resources for supporting open source publishing and for elaborating the theory and practice of allocation in co-operation with the Klebelsberg Library. This article summarizes the forming of the resolution, the process protocol and the results and lessons of the first five months of the project. It reviews related library activities and how they were harmonized with the Library’s other activities, duties and strategy.
