Developing digital literacy in libraries

Abstract

The economic crisis having started in 2008 required a reconsideration of factors influencing the functioning of society. According to the European Union one of the major factors assisting us to get out of the economic crisis is an increase of human capital. The young generation should acquire the knowledge necessary for using advanced technologies through education and the creation of informal environment.
