The new meta-database of libraries by the Hungarian LibraryInstitute at the National Széchényi Library: the Database of Hungarian Libraries

Abstract

The Database of Hungarian Libraries is available since 17 March 2015 on the website of the Hungarian Library Institute (KI). Under this name the database combines previous databases managed by KI providing new features and a new interface. The first part of the article describes the background of creating the new database, while the second part presents in detail the possibilities of the new interface(s). Finally, the future of the database is discussed in short.
