Abstract

Digital humanities and library and information science (LIS) are closely related disciplines. In this third part of a series we review some multidisciplinary projects of the European Association for Digital Humanities (EADH) which process ancient Latin texts (digilibLT – Digital Library of Late-antique Latin Texts, Earlier Latin Manuscripts) and analyse Greek-Latin epigraphic databases (Inscriptiones Graecae, German Inscriptions Online, I.Sicily – Inscriptions of Sicily, EAGLE – Europeana Network of Ancient Greek and Latin Epigraphy). By publishing the findings of our research we wish to support reference work in Hungarian libraries and LIS education in Hungary, as well as to raise the standard of content provision services.
