The difficulties of compiling a namespace management system
Abstract
Namespaces have evolved as a result of the third revolution information technology and society. The most appropriate system for organizing and making the vast information quantity – mainly from the internet – searchable is the natural language itself. Recognizing this, in certain national cultures, the words of the relevant language are organized into semantic systems, and use web-based reference points to link all the available resources that deepen and specify their meaning (such as data from encyclopaedia, studies, classification systems and thesauri, administrative nomenclatures and biological taxonomies, etc.) Currently, we are at the start of this development. Namespaces are but the more complex and more data-rich versions of traditional interpretative dictionaries utilizing the opportunities offered by information technology.
