Abstract

Data literacy and the COVID-19 pandemic have caused health problems, and led, in addition, to the emergence of an infodemic (information crisis). As a consequence, not only libraries and librarians faced several challenges that had been caused by the need to manage information or data. In these areas, it may be important to be aware of the characteristics of information literacy and data literacy, and some of the related areas where tools are available to address this situation.
