From research to final exams - The role of BGE KVIK libraries in supporting university students' studies

Abstract

Our paper describes the trends in the use of the Faculty and Tourism Library at BBU FCHT, how our services have transformed, and the kind of support the Libraries can provide students to prepare for the thesis. In our study, we focus on topic research, database use, reference making, providing the „Reserve a librarian” service as well as submitting the thesis. We explain in detail how we assist graduate students in collecting printed and online literature, searching subscribed databases and using references. We also discuss the trends in Hungarian library use along with the use of BBU FCHT Libraries between 2017 and 2022.
