Trends of the development and increase of effectivity of the State Scientific-Technical Information System in the USSR

Abstract

Perfection of the national economic system involves a significant change in the State Scientific-Technical Information System. Traditional information activity has to be developed into up-to-date automated information activity. The ultimate goal is the establishment of automated scientific-technical information systems and connecting of these individual systems into a co-operating network of automated scientific-technical information centres.
