Ten years of the Hungarian National Digital Archive

Abstract

The year 2023 marks the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Hungarian National Digital Archive and Film Institute (MaNDA DB; https://mandadb.hu), the legal predecessor of Forum Hungaricum Nonprofit Ltd. The aggregation database was first presented at the opening of an exhibition entitled „Greetings from the Lake Balaton” at the Balaton Museum, on 23 March, 2013 by the founder, Lajos Lovas, Director-General. The study presents a selection of the main achievements of the MaNDA aggregation database in its first ten years.
